Departmental Workshops

Department of Economics

The Weidenbaum Center — in an effort to enrich the programs offered to graduate students and to encourage collaboration among faculty — supports a variety of workshop programs in the Department of Economics.  The following workshop programs are currently supported: Macro Workshop/FRB (Federal Reserve Bank) Seminar Series, Empirical Microeconomics (formerly Development and Public Policy), Economic Theory, Labor Economics, and occasionally Departmental Seminars.

These programs run in the fall and spring of each academic year.  Scholars are brought in from around the globe to discuss their research.  For a full listing of seminars go to http://economics.wustl.edu/events/workshops and search for each seminar type.

Department of Political Science

Occasionally special workshops on American politics are supported.  For more information on any potential workshops in this area, occasionally check the Center’s website.
