The Weidenbaum Center is pleased to host Nathan Jensen, Professor in the Department of Government at the University of Texas-Austin. 

This event is presented in conjunction with the The Koch Center for Family Business at the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. 

Professor Jensen will be speaking on how government uses incentives to spur economic development. This special Forum will be a 30 minute presentation by Professor Jensen followed by a question & answer session. 

Professor Jensen teaches courses and conducts research on government economic development strategies, state and local economic development, firm non-market strategies and business-government relations, the politics of oil and natural resources, political risk in emerging markets, trade policy, and international institutions. He was previously an associate professor in the Department of International Business at George Washington University (2014-2016) and an associate professor in the Political Science Department at Washington University in St. Louis (2002-2014).
