Democracy in Danger: Former Congressmen Carnahan and Coleman Launch Bi-Partisan Call to Action

The Weidenbaum Center on the Economy, Government, and Public Policy invites you to join us for a very special discussion featuring speakers: 

Tom Coleman, A Washington University School of Law Graduate, Coleman served as an Assistant Attorney General of Missouri and state representative prior to being elected to 8 terms as a Member of Congress from northwest Missouri. More recently he was an adjunct professor at NYU and American University. He is an Advisor to Protect Democracy

Russ Carnahan, A former Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Carnahan also served in the Missouri House of Representatives, and is currently a Senior Policy Advisor at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.

The discussion will focus on the topics of voting rights and American democracy. 

This event is presented in conjunction with Washington University's School of Law Public Interest & Policy Speaker Series and the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement.
