The Economic Forecast from Inside the Trump White House

Hear from a White House insider on the current state of the economy and a forecast of our economic future. 

 

Aaron Hedlund serves as Chief Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) at the White House, on leave as an associate professor of economics at the Mitch Daniels School of Business at Purdue University. He is also a Research Fellow at the St. Louis Federal Reserve and previously served as the Chief Domestic Economist at the CEA. Hedlund's research focuses on the intersection of macroeconomics, finance, real estate, and labor. Some of the topics he has studied extensively include the causes and consequences of housing booms and busts, the forces driving up college tuition and student debt, and the macroeconomic implications of China's economic transformation.
