Economic Issues Related to the Upcoming Election

On the evening of October 21, 2020, the Center will sponsor a high-level panel discussion of economic issues related to the upcoming big election. Two distinguished economists will participate.

Douglas Holtz-Eakin: PhD from Princeton University, President of the American Action Forum, former chief economist of George W. Bush’s Council of Economic Advisers, former director of the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office, and chief economic policy advisor to the 2008 presidential campaign of John McCain.

Wendy Edelberg: PhD from University of Chicago, director of the Hamilton Project and senior fellow in economic studies at the Brookings Institution, former chief economist of the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office, and former executive director of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, and former senior economist for Barack Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers.
