Join us for a special event featuring a conversation among three distinguished leaders of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Together, they will explore the evolving role of the Federal Reserve in the U.S. economy, drawing on decades of leadership and experience at the St. Louis Fed. This event is co-sponsored by the Purdue University Mitch Daniels School of Business.

Alberto Musalem is President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. 

 

James Bullard is the Dr. Samuel R. Allen Dean of the Mitch Daniels School of Business, Distinguished Professor of Service, and Professor of Economics at Purdue University. He is a former president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (2008-2023). 

 

Thomas C. Melzer is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Riverfest. He is a former president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (1985-1998). 

 

Moderator 

Karen Branding is President & CEO of The St. Louis Regional Business Council. She is a former senior vice president of external engagement & corporate communications at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (2011-2024).
