Steve Smith, Center Director, will be hosting this commentary along with Steve Fazzari, Center Associate Director.

Dr. Prakken,  a professional economic forecaster, will provide analysis of the challenges facing the U.S. economy in this unusual period, including discussion of the dramatic volatility in energy markets. Dr. Mertha is an expert on China and a former member of the Washington University faculty. He will comment on current stresses in U.S.-China relations.
