Anthony Valterra

Anthony serves as the Senior Grants Specialist at the GAIN/Weidenbaum Center. In this role, he provides support to the departments of Economics, Political Science, and Sociology. He collaborates with faculty during the pre-award process, aiding in proposal development, budget preparation, and other administrative tasks related to grant submissions. This collaboration is done in coordination with the Office of Sponsored Research Services. Moreover, Anthony plays a crucial role in post-award activities, such as grant reporting, budget reallocation, no-cost extensions, and revisions. He also offers administrative assistance for awarded grants, working closely with the Sponsored Projects Accounting team. Prior to joining Washington University, Anthony gained experience as a grants and contracts specialist at Lindenwood University and as a senior grant and communications manager at College Bound in St. Louis.
