Dr. Kristin Foringer is the Weidenbaum Center’s Research Development Associate, working to expand and strengthen our external research grant portfolio. She collaborates with faculty to facilitate large-scale grant proposals and especially to promote interdisciplinary research teams across Economics, Political Science, Sociology, and the broader campus. She supports faculty applicants with everything from "big picture" strategy to proposal editing support. Kristin received her PhD in Sociology from the University of Michigan and a BA from Rice University in Policy Studies and Spanish. As a scholar, she has won grants from the National Science Foundation, Minerva Research Initiative, and U.S. Institute of Peace, among others.
