Taishi Muraoka
Weidenbaum Center Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Taishi Muraoka studies comparative politics, with special focuses on electoral politics and political institutions. While at Washington University, he is working with Political Science Professors Christopher Lucas, Jacob Montgomery, and Margit Tavits on research projects that aim to understand how elites and political parties use social media to communicate with voters. He received a Ph.D. in Political Science from Washington University and was also a postdoctoral fellow in the Program of US-Japan Relations at Harvard University.
